Wow, I am really bad at keeping you all updated! Sorry! Here goes: I have three healthy, beautiful, children now! (Thank You, Jesus!) Leah is 3, Connor will be 2 in April, and Zachary is almost 5 months old. Yes, we had them close together, and we are loving it!!! I thank God each day that I can be ’daddy’ to these precious little people.

I only have half of the new cd recorded, it has been a frustrating adventure, to say the least, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. The lessons God has taught through this long time period have been priceless, and I am finally realizing that His timing is WAY better than mine ever could be! So while, yes, I’d love to say it’s finished and will be released in a month...I cannot. But I am okay with that now. When it is ready it will be advertised here! And I will know that God is in the middle of every chord, every lyric, and everything about this new cd.

Be encouraged! God IS on our side, even when it sometimes seems He is nowhere to be found. That is usually when He is His closest! My wife and I have a few other things we believe God is doing in this newest season in our lives. We are trying to blindly and fully trust Him with EVERYTHING. He is calling all of us to a new place. But we must rid ourselves of old habits, our sinful nature, foolishness, laziness, bitterness, and all the other crazy things we hold onto. We must in order to go to where He is calling us to. Easier said than done, but let’s keep praying and encouraging one another to move forward, so we don’t get stagnant.

We keep hearing the Holy Spirit say, "get prepared!" And that is want we want to do and be.

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Peter 1:5-8

God is faithful! Thanks to all of you that keep the Evans family in your prayers. My wife is due with our second child in April and we are very excited! Our daughter, Leah, is healthy and growing and now we will have a son.

Thanksgiving was a great success we served one thousand people, thanks to all who volunteered their time, money, and efforts! Now we are quickly working on our Christmas Day festivities. At Christian Center of Fort Worth every year we serve our community ON Christmas day. As in past years we will be serving a hot home-cooked dinner, restaurant style. Different families from our church and around the metroplex "adopt" a table and serve their guests. They are treated to turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls and more. After they eat they are served dessert and coffee. We also have free hot showers and fresh clothing and coats. After all of this we take the families to our Life Center where they get a bag of groceries, clothing and coats for the family, and the children line up to see Santa. This is where the real fun begins. Each child is asked their age (by an elf) and then by the time they get to Santa he has a present just for that child! There are no words to describe how amazing it is to watch each child leave and open the only gift they might get for Christmas. I'm not trying to sound cheesy, but this truly has been a life changing experience for me in the past and I'm excited about what God is going to do this year! THANKSGIVING DAY my wife, our family, and I will be feeding our community a free hot dinner with our church. Last year we fed over 1,000 families. We are still in GREAT need of turkeys or hams. We had a great time of learning and worship with our new friends from Kings Regional International Worship Community. Thanks to all those who worked so hard to put the event together!

Our trip to Manila was wonderful! We give all praise to God for letting us come and go safely! We saw many lives touched by the Power of God, and had many new salvations. Thanks to all of you who prayed for us during our trip.

More good news: my wife and I just found out we are pregnant with our second child! Everything is well and we should have our new bundle of love Spring of 2006. Praise God for His many blessings!

We are keeping busy with our home church and ministry to those in need from the hurricane, as I'm sure many of you are. I don't think there is one person that is not affected by this tragedy in some way. However, we will ALL make it through, by God's grace and love!
